Sustenance in success

Use our logic, weigh your options. Do what your heart tells you to. Trust your gut feeling, it can NEVER be wrong!

Three contradictory statements, an abundance of people yet to figure what works best for them. Should they equally divide their choice and make a decision based on their reasoning, heart and gut instinct? What if they’re not the same?

What if your gut is asking you to take the plunge and leave your job, yet your logic reminds you of limitations and the dire consequences should you not succeed elsewhere. What if your heart relies on a person, having come under their facade, yet your gut pricks you with a little voice, hinting you to be careful.

Intuition - a gateway to information. When tapping into your inner voice, you’re unleashing a wealth of knowledge that has been accumulated over the years of your existence, all stored in your subconscious.

Radhika’s new stint as the head of a sales and marketing department had her questioning the method and motive of her current team. She was wary of their lack of motivation and how they undermined her. Meanwhile, she was handed a resignation by one hardworking team member, Ashutosh, who was she was actually looking to promote, based on his skill set and the confidence he demonstrated in taking up new projects. She was sad to see him go and spoke to a senior team member, Komal, regarding retaining him with a promotion. With Komal being biased due to personal rifts with Ashutosh, Radhika was left with a terrible impression of him. She let this new information cloud over her gut feeling about him, surely a senior resource couldn’t be wrong!

Everything being fresh in her mind, Radhika sat for a meeting with the team to discuss new strategies. With Ashutosh holding contrasting ideas that came across as heatedly opinionated, an argument ensued. Being personally affronted, Radhika saw it as an act of rebellion and decided to set an example for the rest of the team by humiliating him and dismissing him without letting him finish his notice period. Intuitively, she knew she was wrong in doing so, however, her active logic showed this to be an opportunity. Not taking time to contemplate by letting her heart decide, she took this haphazard decision. This left her guilty and Ashutosh reeling from his bitter experience with the organization.

When faced with situations where you’ve got to make a decision, no ONE option can be used. You cannot simply use your mind to check for sensibility, keeping emotions and human equations aside. Neither can you only consider those and ignore the consequences from having made an illogical decision. What’s most beneficial is to incorporate all three in a way that help make a balanced yet informed decision.

Consider intuition to be the gateway to information. When tapping into your inner voice, you’re unleashing a wealth of knowledge that has been accumulated over the years of your existence, all stored in your subconscious. Your gut feeling from that expanse of knowledge will direct you to collate information of the right kind. Once you start working on it, you’ll be at ease mentally as you know the path you’ve chosen is in accordance with your being. With a satiated gut feeling and the right kind of information at hand, you’re gong to now proceed with letting your heart do the rest.

Heart - will not take into consideration uncertainty, fear or avoidance. It has a subtle way of telling you what you TRULY want.

Your heart will not take into consideration uncertainty, fear or avoidance. Your heart will have a subtle way of telling you what you TRULY want. It tells you that there may be less than desirable consequences to your actions, but in the end you will have achieved that what you truly crave. Happiness through better sense of self and freedom in its true sense.

In order to be in tune with the aforementioned, it is important for us to encourage holistic development of the core of our beings whilst remaining unbiased. As each of us differs in wondrous ways, its our job to find what works out to be the best for us. To be in tune with yourself, you first have to be at peace and your happiest best. This comes from introspection. Being aware of the littlest things you do during your day, from the start to the end. Of situations, how you tackle them and how it makes you feel. Experimenting with different patterns in how you go about your day and seeing what makes you happier. More content. Analyzing your reactions and decisions logically to see whether or not you can better them to improve your decision-making skills.

By doing this in intervals you will tap into your essence and will be able to guide yourself, keeping everyone’s best interests at heart. Upon achievement of this, your logic will step up and balance it out by taking decisions in a pattern that will keep the system intact and rolling. Should there still be a discrepancy, last but not the least, your heart will be the final authority. Find out what helps you unlock the abilities of your heart, mind and intuition and hold it dear as you figure out how to course through life with this knowledge imperative in growth and learning.
